Meet Ares #A2158049, our ABC7 Community pet of the week! Ares is a 2-year-old neutered male that weighs 59-lbs. When people first see Ares in his kennel, he displays high levels of anxiety and at times is bouncing off the walls, which may deter potential adopters. However, when Ares is out of his kennel, he's a completely different dog. He's a social butterfly who enjoys running and playing with other dogs in the play yard. He is also very affectionate with staff and volunteers, and knows how to take treats gently.
