ATHENS OHIO OR WILLIAMSBURG, OHIO. 1 Y/O, FEMALE FULLBLOOD GSD (DOB:11/23/23) . Her name is 'NALA '. Background: Current Shepherd Parent has had Nala for 2 weeks. She rescued her from a co-worker from a bad situation. This poor pup was being forced to live 24/7 in a crate'| for 3 months she endured this pain and neglect. UTD on shots. Fixed. UNKNOWN with kids. NOT good with dogs. UNKNOWN with cats. House trained(WORKING PROGRESS). Crate trained. DO NOT CRATE! NALA HAS TRAUMA RESPONSE DUE TO HER ABUSE HISTORY. No known medical issues. SEVERE SEPARATION ANXIETY. Nala has been put on Prozac, Gabapentin and Trazodone. TRAUMA RESPONSE TO CRATE (DO NOT CRATE) . Currently on BLUE BUFFALO GRAIN FREE food. Weighs 45 lbs. Good with car rides. Loves: Nala loves cuddling, loves squeak toys, loves to play fetch, loves Kongs and Peanut Butter. Loves being with her person. Loves playing with toys and showing off her tricks. Nala is a very sweet and loving girl. She always wants to play. She is extremely intelligent and knows Basic Commands and tricks. She is overall just a really great girl. She is a K9 Cop Dropout due to always wanting to play. Current Shepherd Parent needs to re home Nala because she was told that Nala was completely potty trained and crate trained but found out that this is not true. She does not have the time to work with and train Nala. Nala needs a great loving home immediately who has the time to work with her. She needs someone kind and patient and someone who is home a lot, who will NOT crate her due to her abuse history, someone who will RESPECT her Trauma Response and NEVER force her to be crated. She needs someone who is able to work with her on being an Indoor Family Member and completing House Training. She needs someone who can handle her High Pup Energy. Nala needs lots of TLC, it is AMAZING what Love can do for these abused Shepherds. Nala needs someone who will respect her anxieties and help her through them so she can hopefully get off all of those meds and be the best girl that she can be and thrive.
