About Caroline

Caroline came from a neglect case in Kossuth County from the Moffitt Animal Shelter. She was showered with all the care and love she needed to get back to good health. Now, look at this beautiful girl! She's ready to meet her forever family who is going to treat her like the gem she is. No more neglect for this baby! She is keen on showing her love with all her snuggles and kisses. She is a big girl with a lot of energy, so a family with stable feet and the understanding that she is just a big ball of love would be perfect for her! Caroline is an outstanding canine companion who loves to be right by your side, soaking up all the love and attention. She has exceeded our expectations with our residential dogs and has even become best pals with our boy Chip. She LOVES a good game of fetch in between play times with the furry friends! We believe Caroline would thrive in a home with another canine friend to keep her company while the owners are away. She also gets along wonderfully with cats! Although Miss Caroline can be a bit shy when meeting new people and has a deep bark, she quickly warms up and becomes the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. She has been socialized with the help of two volunteers and has done amazingly well with our friends and family. Given her background, we are incredibly pleased with how well she has adjusted. Despite a difficult start in life, we believe she is only 2 to 3 years old and has shown remarkable resilience. Caroline previously lived in a home with several cats and a small dog, and we think she may have been a mother to some pups. She gets along with all dogs and is great at correcting inappropriate behavior in younger dogs. She keeps her area extremely clean and doesn't chew anything up during slumber parties in the living room.
