Rocky was thrown out of the back of a truck at a local neighborhood. Hurt and scared, he still chased after his people when the truck took off, running until exhaustion overtook him. Thankfully a kind heart saw the whole event unfold, and took pity on this poor pup. They brought him in to their home, where he has been for the last couple of weeks. While still longing for his forever family to come back, Rocky has assimilated well into the foster situation. He plays with the resident dogs and just ignores the true head of the household, a bossy cat who pushes everyone's buttons. As fortunate as this pup was to have a family take him in, unfortunately, Rocky's time at the foster is ending, as they cannot keep him much longer. We are looking for an urgent foster/adopter for this sweet guy. Rocky comes neutered, up to date on vaccines and house trained. He is learning leash etiquette and is a great copilot on any road trip! He is kid, dog and cat friendly, and has already mastered some basic commands like 'sit', 'down', 'stay', and 'come'. Please contact with any questions or to schedule a meet and greet. Home checks are required. Please do not contact if you are not willing to allow a home visit. Rehoming fee applies. Fosters are financed by rescue.
