Lovely, dapple-coated Betina came to our shelter with her more outgoing sister, who quickly got adopted. But this reserved beauty is going to be selective about the human she choses to worship her. :-) Her name, which means devotion and faith, certainly fits! Betina was rescued as a four month old kitten from a feral colony at a local hospital. She spent 4 months with her rescuer for socialization and learning to trust humans. She is still shy and a little scared, but we see her relaxing more day by day. This observant youngster's spot of choice is on the highest shelf in a room so she can take in everything around her and enjoy a cozy, long nap. We see her playing with toys and interacting positively with the other kitties. As a very quiet and reserved feline, Betina will need someone who can make her feel safe, comfortable and understand that she may need some time to become more connected to her person. She will do best in a subdued environment that doesn't have a lot of hustle bustle.
