CHECK YOUR SPAM/JUNK FOLDER IF DON'T RECEIVE A REPLY TO AN INQUIRY INDOOR ONLY HOMES Paloma was an Inland Empire neighborhood stray rescued by a good Samaritan. Paloma arrived at the rescue on November 13, 2024. She is estimated to have been born sometime in 2022. She was spayed on December 1, 2024. She weighs about six pounds. Paloma can't take a bad picture! Model material here! Her beauty is a true work of art. She adores stretching out after she's explored all the toys in the rabbit romping room! She enjoys sitting at the top of the couch to have her face and cheeks rubbed. She also likes it when you join her at ground level for affection time. Like many rabbits, she is not fond of being picked up however. Allow her to get to a comfy place and meet her there, then she revels in the attention! Who knows what she may have experienced surviving on the streets before rescue? Paloma is just praying for a person to provide a permanent home for her. Paloma should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. She can have that as her home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit. Paloma can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore. PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies! If you are seeking a rabbit as a companion for your existing rabbit, your rabbit should be spayed/neutered. Male/female bondings are usually recommended.
