About Emerson and Saffie

We rescued them on December 20, 2024. They are spayed/neutered. They are friendly buns and both weigh about seven pounds. At seven pounds they are considered medium-sized buns. Clearly someone loved them before dumping them. They were easy to rescue and just as easy to love now that they are safe at the rescue. They have good litter box habits, love each other immensely and get excited forpellets/treats. Saffie in particular has mastered the art of begging for treats near the edge of her bunny bungalow. These are laid-back buns with a calm disposition. They are patiently waiting for their forever home. Emerson and Saffie should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. They can have that as their home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit. Emerson and Saffie can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore. PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies! If you are seeking a rabbit as a companion for your existing rabbit, your rabbit should be spayed/neutered. Male/female bondings are usually recommended.
