About Violet

****UPDATE: Sweet Violet is still in the shelter and so desperate to get a foster or adopter to help her start a new life. Sweet small pure blue heeler in need of rescue. Please help foster her - she has been in a pound 6 months. Violet is fixed. She doesn't understand small dogs nor cats but does love people. She is a good obedient and basic trained girl. She had a medium size dog friend she lived with. Please adopt/foster her, she is getting depressed in the pound.**** Heartworm status is Unknown. Current Location is Jefferson County Animal Control Monticello, FL Reason for intake: Remove from owner for biting someone and not being cared for properly Bite History: She bit one person because the lady was walking and Violet and her small dog argued and the lady put her hand in her mouth. Does the pet like dogs: no small dogs. House Trained: unknown. Crate Trained: yes Leash Trained: no Violet is a good dog who needs the right home with a loving owner. She came from my neighborhood and the owner doesn't need to get her back. She is a great dog. She would do well with a family who understands blue heelers. She hates the pound. She is known in my neighborhood. She does fine with medium size dog.
