Pudge is a 7 year old French bulldog. We have had her for almost 4 years. She only has one eye. She's been that way ever since we got her. Doesn't affect her at all. Previous owner told us a dog attacked her. She also has a scar on her back from that same attack. She is spayed. She has little skin tags on her (as best as I can describe them) but they've never grown nor do they bother her. She has a little crinkle ear from where she had a hematoma drained on her ear and it 'dried up' her ear. Also does not affect her in any way. She is a great dog! To be a frenchie, she is pretty chill. She does get excited when you come home or tippy tap your feet on the floor. She likes to play with toys, however, if our other dogs take them from her, she doesn't try to get them back. She is a very submissive dog. She likes to get in a kiddie pool in the summer, but only when you aren't looking lol. Gets along well with cats and dogs. Never met a stranger. We do not have children, but we have had children here before and she did great. She absolutely loves attention and does not care who she gets it from. She uses a doggy door. The reason I am trying to find her the perfect forever home; we both work 2 jobs currently and are not home enough to meet her needs. When we are gone for long periods of time, she pees on things. She's not a big jumper as far as getting on furniture, but if a blanket or dog bed is on the floor, when you come home it's soaked. She had this issue when we first got her and it stopped for a long while, but started again when we started working longer hours and unfortunately, those longer hours for us isn't going to stop anytime soon. She would make a great family dog, or even a dog for one owner. But she definitely needs a home where someone is home very often or where someone is always home. She is absolutely potty trained and uses the doggy door regularly. This has only become an issue again because we are gone for long periods. Otherwise she is a great dog. We haven't had her on a leash or harness for a while, so I'm not sure if she still remembers how to walk on a leash. We free feed our dogs. She does have a sensitivity to red dye in dog food, so we definitely stay away from that. I just want to make sure she has a great home. It kills me to even write this, but I want her to feel comfortable and not have anxiety about us being gone for so long. I am in no hurry to get rid of her and will be picky. Any other questions? Feel free to ask!
