Greta was rescued from a friend of a friend. She was reported to be malnourished with horrible constant itching/scratching. Previous owner states he adopted her from pound, but unclear if any of this is true. He states she's approximately 4 years of age. With a grain allergy. She is in current foster home and has received veterinary care. She may have a food allergy but vet wasn't convinced. He believes she has bacterial topical skin infection. Treated for mange just in case but does not suspect cause of itching. She has to have twice weekly baths with medicated shampoo which is helping tremendously. She does not produce tears so requires eye drops daily. She's partly blind due to being neglected and not receiving drops. Vet described this like having sand paper going over your eyes constantly. She is the sweetest, passive, submissive dog. We believe she was used to breed numerous litters due to her hanging nipples. She appreciates all care including the baths and eye drops. She sits still and lets you do them. Loves to hold your hand (one of the best bulldog characteristics). She is great with young children and other dogs. She is curious about cats just wants to smell and be friends. Cats typically don't like this, but she will not chase or pursue them. Anyone would be so lucky to have this sweet girl. She is the biggest love bug who deserves all the cuddles kisses in the world. She currently weighs 53 lbs. in the short few weeks she is gaining weight. She remains on a grain free diet.
