Meet Lucca Lucca is our gorgeous grey tabby and white little lad. He is 4 months young with the playful flare of a kitten and the sweetest personality! Looking for a loyal companion? Just call Lucca's name and he comes running. He is an excellent biscuit maker as he's all about love. Lucca loves to lean in with his head boop for pets. He loves a good toy, loves relaxing and playing with his foster siblings, he loves kids and will provide you with limitless laughter during playtime shenanigans! Lucca is a cerebellar hypoplasia kitten also known as a wobbly cat. Lucca is a warrior, and he does not know he's any different than his siblings. Lucca has the strength to walk, eat, and manage most functions but struggles with balance and coordination. This condition is one of the most common nervous system disorders in cats. It's caused by the underdevelopment of a vital part of the brain. The cerebellum is the part of the brain that regulates the positioning of the trunk and the strength and direction of limb movements. Cerebellar hypoplasia is a nonprogressive disorder. Lucca was born with cerebellar damage, but the disorder will not get worse as he ages. You may even notice that he gets better at walking, eating, and other functions with age. Since the disorder isn't progressive, Lucca has the same life expectancy as any other cat.
