About Oreo

Oreo is a 7-year-old quirky rat terrier-chihuahua. He's genuinely sweet but barks aggressively upon meeting. When I got him as a puppy, I was told he's a one-pet household but he always did well with my older cat. We only had issues after the cat passed and my husband's dog moved in, where Oreo's aggression has increased due to feeling his dominance threatened. He's aggressive toward dogs larger than him and kids. He needs daily walks and some training. I wouldn't let him off leash. He's loving and protective and pretty quirky - he's been afraid of garbage trucks and loud noises his whole life and is extremely excited by shadows and lights. He needs really tough chew toys so as to not eat them. Oreo just needs a lot of love and he gives it right back to you!
