Once a stray in South Texas, Helix hasn't let his rough start dim his spirit-in fact, he radiates happiness with every goofy gallop and full-body tail wag. This lovable goofball has a signature move: sleeping on his back, paws in the air, without a care in the world. It's just one of the many quirks that make Helix unforgettable. Whether he's running through the yard with his dog pack or receiving a toy he's seen a hundred times, he reacts with pure delight-as if he's experiencing joy for the very first time. Helix is crate trained but would much rather snooze on a dog bed beside yours. And if you invite him up for a cuddle? He's all in. He's a gentle soul at home, never destructive, and respectful of your space and things. Though leash training is a work in progress, he's picking it up quickly and rarely jumps unless he's absolutely bursting with excitement. Mealtime is drama-free with Helix. He's a slow, polite eater who's perfectly fine sharing space with other dogs and doesn't mind kids being around his food. In fact, he thrives in a family environment. The children in his foster home, ranging from toddlers to pre-teens, adore him-and the feeling is mutual. He loves playing outside with them and curling up for snuggles when the day winds down.
