About Hudson

LOCATION: Round Rock, TX DOB: 11/14/2023 Meet Hudson, a sweet and shy Great Dane/Boxer mix with a heart full of love. At 2.5 years old, Hudson is the kind of dog who likes to sit back and watch before jumping into the fun once he's comfortable. He needs a person to attach to and will follow you all over the house, always wanting to know what you're doing. While he seems to be more shy around men, he's not aggressive at all-just a bit reserved at first. Hudson and his buddy Helix were found wandering the streets together, but they are not a bonded pair. Hudson has white legs, while Helix has 'socks.' Hudson loves being part of the dog pack and enjoys galloping around with his friends. He's learned to bark at things occasionally, like people walking by the house, but he stops if you correct him. This playful pup LOVES dog toys. Every time you give him a toy, even if he's seen it a million times, he reacts like a kid at Christmas. It's truly heartwarming to watch the world through his eyes, as he finds so much enjoyment in everything he does. Hudson doesn't mind his crate but prefers sleeping on a dog bed next to yours. He gets really excited when you invite him up on the bed to cuddle. He's well-behaved and doesn't destroy or chew anything when left out. While he hasn't had much leash training, he's slowly learning and rarely jumps, only doing so when he's really excited. Hudson is not food aggressive at all. He eats right next to other dogs and eats slowly, with no issues if other dogs or kids go near him. Speaking of kids, Hudson is great with them! The kids in his foster home, ages 3 to 9, adore him. He enjoys playing with them outside and cuddling with them. Hudson is a well-behaved and loving dog who would make a wonderful addition to any family.
