(DOB 11/26/2024) Due to Champ's young age, he has not yet been neutered. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within 1 hour drive time of Wake Forest NC). In addition, he will be unable to do any meet and greets until he gets his next puppy shot on 1/28/25 - no exceptions. Champ (aka Scrappy Doo), the tiny, turbo-charged 1-pound ball of energy and joy is going to make you smile! This little guy is an absolute dynamo who lives for playtime and snuggles! With his soft, short coat and chihuahua-like looks, Champ is a pint-sized powerhouse of personality who will steal your heart in an instant. He LOVES to play! Whether it's chasing after toys, tugging on bones, or engaging in epic play sessions with his bigger foster sisters (yes, he fearlessly plays with dogs up to 50 pounds!), Champ is always ready to go! Watching him zoom around with his hilarious Scrappy Doo energy will have you laughing all day long. Though he's not quite ready to conquer the stairs just yet, this little guy's adventurous spirit shines through, and once he's big enough, there's no stopping him! Champ's fearlessness and zest for life make him an absolute hoot to watch. At his very young age and size he still has a lot to work on; things like potty training, crate training, walking on a leash and basic commands so a person/family that is going to be patient and playful with Champ is needed. He's so small that his foster mom sometimes has to carry him in a carrier to make sure he doesn't get stepped on-he's basically a pocket-sized bundle of joy! So, a home that will be aware of his tiny size and keep him safe inside and out is of utmost importance. Are you that active home with lots of love to give? This adorable, playful pup will want another playful dog to match his energy and someone who works from home and can give him the attention and socialization he needs to grow into the best little companion. If you're looking for a pint-sized, hilarious bundle of joy, Champ is your guy! As part of Champ's $325 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered. If you have questions about this sweet little boy, you can email [email protected]. If you wish to adopt Champ, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
