Max underwent major dental surgery (7 teeth extracted) and healed nicely and became a much happier Max than when he first came into rescue two months ago. Max is a very loving guy and loves to attach himself to his special person. While he gets along very well with the 10-year-old female in his foster home, we feel Max would be just as happy as an only dog Very loving, cuddly, gentle guy. He likes squeaky toys and when you throw them outside. He doesn't play hard or for very long, he keeps himself stimulated with those squeaker toys. What Max loves most is cuddling up in his blanket and hiding in his open crate. Max has been sleeping in the bed with foster mom and one of her senior dogs. He makes the best body warmer on these cold winter nights! clean. Max is very entertaining and loves being near his person. He is also a couch potato most of the day, or stays in his open crate, under covers where you can't see him. Typical doxie behavior! Max LOVES to walk, but definitely needs to be leashed, as he is a runner, and he is FAST! He loves checking out the backyard and he loves being outside, so a fenced yard is preferred. . In summary Max will make the perfect companion to the lucky person(s) who adopt this special boy. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He is being fostered in White Oak, PA and is available for an adoption fee of $350.00.
