About Guinea Pigs

This is a bonded trio. Caramel in the rear is the Mama of Jumpy on the left. Eclipse earned the moniker Auntie because she stepped up to help Caramel, even nursing her babies. She freaks when they are separated. I caught 18 piggies someone dumped in a vacant lot near my house. Caramel was the first of 7 to deliver babies and Eclipse was the only female I caught that wasn't pregnant. I speculate they are either sisters or mother and daughter. I also have a lonely female whose friends and family were already adopted, three single rescued boys and 11 baby boys weaned from the mamas.
