About Douglas

Douglas just came to us at TRACS from the south in Texas and is such a great puppy we are very happy to have him. He appears to be part retriever and possibly boxer or shepherd, and they came up to us having been labeled boxer mixes! Maybe a boxer mom or boxer dad? He is only 4 months of age. He is about 16 pounds and likely will be about 50-60 pounds or so as an adult. He is very dog friendly and people friendly and doing great with his 3 puppy sibling roommates. He is available now as he has had 2 vaccines and is safe to go out into the world. He is not yet neutered and will have to go out on a foster to adopt basis which means we co-own him until the new owner gets his surgery done using the voucher we provide for $50. At that time it is an automatic adoption. He will go home with a microchip and will also need 2 more vaccines. He can be adopted for $250. We do also have to collect a check for $125 to hold in his file as a guarantee that the surgery will be completed.
