About Diego

Diego is a one yr old 19-pound Pembroke Welch Corgi mix. He was surrendered by a couple who had him about a month. They both worked long hours and were kenneling this young dog for long hours. They were both sad but made the decision he needed more attention and exercise and reached out to surrender him to us. Diego has been fostered on a ranch with several big and small dogs as well as a variety of ranch animals and birds. Initially he had to learn a lot. He learned how to play with others, play with toys, enjoy quality chew items, swim in the pond, sleep quietly in the kitchen, go to the bathroom outside and be polite during mealtimes. This guy is smart as a whip and quickly fit into his foster home like he had lived there a long time. Diego will be a great companion for an active family or person and would do well to have another dog as part of his new family. Diego is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, heartworm negative and has had a vet evaluation.
