About Peep

PEEP is a 7 year old, 15 pound Pomeranian. She was adopted from us last year but recently returned due to her owner's health issues. PEEP is a very sweet mellow dog who just wants to be loved. She loves laps, head scratches, belly rubs and naps.... not necessarily in that order! She is a friendly loving girl who will be a wonderful companion. PEEP loves her furry friends and we want her to go to a home with another little dog. She is so happy playing and snuggling with other dogs. We do not know how she would be with cats or kids but think older kids would be okay. PEEP walks well on a leash and has been taking regular walks because she is about 5 pounds overweight. (She was 10 pounds when she was adopted.) She had a few accidents when she got to her new foster home but once she learned the routine they stopped. She knows how to use the doggie door and would love to have a home with a fenced yard. PEEP likes chew bones and loves toys that make noise. At night she cuddles up in the big bed with her foster family. PEEP has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. She is heartworm positive and we started her treatment last year. She will be retested in a few months and if she is still positive we will re-treat her. Testing and treatment is covered by the rescue until she is negative. We are a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola FL and adopt within a 6-hour drive to Pensacola. Local applicants will be given first consideration. We do not ship or transport our dogs. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments and dogs with behavioral issues are local adoption only. We review multiple applications for each dog and pick the best fit.
