About Violet

Miss violet came to me along with another dog about a year ago. We have a 25 acre ranch and it was obvious someone had dumped them. She had a puncture wound on one of her legs and was obviously in a lot of pain. A friend was able to take the other dog in and she stayed with me. She has grown and come out of her shell immensely but still flinches and is scared of men. I'm not sure what her past was before she came to me but it's obvious there was some type of abuse and neglect. She's an absolute sweetheart and I have grown extremely attached to her but I feel like she's not thriving like she should be. She's good with kids and her best friend was our barn cat. I have since moved and it's just her and I now and she has gone back into her shell. I feel like she would make a amazing addition to a family either with kids or other pets.
