Shakey will be 5 years old on July 21st this year. I adopted Shakey from Lifeline Animal Program in Chamblee, GA, in September of 2023. I got her as a pet for my mom, sister and my 10 year old nephew. She was spayed a week later on October 5th, 2023. Shakey loves walks, chasing squirrels and the dog park. She is finicky with other dogs at first but has lived with other dogs just fine and played with dogs frequently at the dog park after an adjustment period. She is very sweet and becomes owner protective once she bonds. She is a lover of being pet and belly rubs. Shakey is a master holder. She usually can hold her potty up to 12 hours but is better at the eight hour mark. She only eats dog food, including dental sticks/ dental water and does well with peanut butter flavored treats. She isn't really into regular dog toys but likes chew toys infrequently. Prefers humans to dog companions. She comes with a bunch of stuff included, crate, bed/ blanket, grooming supplies, towel, bowls etc. Shakey needs a new home due to my deteriorating mental and physical health and disability. I can no longer provide the activity and care she needs financially. I have been hospitalized twice last year for up to a week or longer. I lost my income in September and things aren't getting better. Family cannot care for her either though they have tried. I appreciate anyone who can help. I only have until February 2nd to re-home her due to my situation.
