About Luther

Meet Luther! ��%90%BE Luther is a 3-year-old, 24-pound Dachshund mix with a gentle spirit and a love for canine companionship. While he may be shy at first, he truly shines when there's another dog around to guide him. For this reason, Luther must go to a home with another playful dog who can help him feel confident and secure. In playgroups and adoption events, Luther has shown great progress, becoming more friendly and learning to enjoy playtime with others. New surroundings, people, and dogs can make him a bit nervous at first, but with patience, time, and understanding, he warms up beautifully as he grows comfortable with his environment. Luther is crate-trained, though he may need some extra encouragement (and treats!) to adjust to a new space. He would thrive with continued positive reinforcement training to help him perfect his manners and build confidence. Playtime is one of Luther's favorite things, and he would love to keep you entertained with his antics! Despite his playful energy, he also appreciates a calm and structured routine to help him feel secure. Luther was found as a stray alongside another dog, and it seems he followed their lead as they wandered together.
