About Gus

Gus! There's so much to say about this guy! His heart is huge! His face is chubby and adorable! He is a stunning, gorgeous, snuggly boy! We absolutely adore him! Gus came to a local animal hospital as a good Samaritan surrender when he was unable to use his leg. He came to us shortly there after. When he first came, he was not using his hind leg at all. And then he was limping substantially and then barely limping at all. His radiograph show that he had some trauma to his hind leg. There's little bone chip fractures in it. Although he may always have a slight limp and hold his leg out slightly when he's sitting, it doesn't seem to bother him at all, and he has pretty good range of motion in that leg. He's lucky! So many other others do not heal as well as he did and would have to have had it removed completely.
