After 4 days we made contact with her owner who let us know they could not afford to take her back, then they stopped communication. She is a very sweet, affectionate girl. She is eager to please & has learned a few commands very quickly. (Waiting at the door, shake, sit, working on 'drop it' and 'leave it') She loves walks (best on an harness which we will provide, but I know she'd learn to heel quickly) and is learning to fetch. We haven't had the opportunity to see how she is with other animals, although her previous owner stated that she had issues with cats and farm animals. We have not seen any indication of this, and while on leashed walks she hasn't been reactive to other dogs. She has not shown any possessiveness with food or toys. She has been afraid of a couple dogs so I would caution that. She is comfortable being alone for a few hours a day so far in our screened in porch. She may be clever at finding her way out of a yard. Can't overstate how cuddly she is. maybe german shorthair pointer and pitbull/terrier mix? We got her rabies, DAPP vaccinations, heart worm test, one month of bravecto and interceptor.
