About 'NALA'

Courtesy Posting: X URGENT -BOULDER CITY, NV- Boulder City Animal Shelter ID #24-425 'NALA' - 2 YR OLD BEAUTIFUL, RARE FEMALE CREAM CHOW SHELTER ASKING FOR HELP AND PUT HER ON A DEADLINE OF TWO WEEKS AS OF 1/15. PEOPLE AND KID FRIENDLY, CHOW SAVVY HOME OR FOSTER AND RESCUE NEEDED ASAP, OR SHE WILL BE EUTHANIZED FOR SPACE. We are in urgent need of finding a chow savvy home or foster and rescue for this rare young cream chow Nala. She has been at this remote shelter for over 3 months who told us, 'she is friendly with people and loves her squeaky toys. No medical issues, spayed, vaxed, and microchipped' However, they also said, 'with our shelter nearing capacity, we urgently require a foster or adoptive home for Nala.' We understand Nala was originally at another shelter and was saved last minute. However, we were told she did not get along with the foster's dog, and was then adopted to a family with a larger dog seemed to do okay with as seen in videos we have. However, several months later, they brought in a very small dog to this home she went after. This last home then surrendered her to the current shelter. While we were told Nala is very good with people, she has had mixed interactions with other dogs and we feel she is best as an only pet. We have additional videos of Nala interacting with people to share. With less than two weeks from 1/15 to find placement, if you are chow savvy and can adopt, please contact the shelter directly at 702.293.9283 and ask for her by ID. If you are interested in fostering, fostering to adopt, or helping Nala in some other way (ie., visiting her, pledging for her rescue, transport, etc), please contact [email protected] or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network who is trying to find placement asap, and can try to pair fosters or interested parties with a willing rescue group.
