About Lila

Lila has been a loyal, loving companion for 13 years to my adult son. She has lived with our family in the country with other dogs when my son lived at home. She is good-natured and though she has lost most of her hearing due to age, she does know her name and can hear when sound comes in front of her. She is happy to be with humans and other dogs but doesn't like to be left alone and as such cries and howls. She never tolerated a cage. Though will go in a cage just fine at the groomers and vet. My son due to loss of income and loss of a place where dogs are allowed can no longer keep her. I am currently caring for her until we can find her a home that will be devoted to a senior dog's lifestyle and needs. Lila loves to sleep with you and cuddle. She doesn't have any health issues other than her hearing. She needs to get up to date with her vaccines which were due in the fall of 2024. She was always kept up to date on vaccines and always on Heartworm, Flea and Tick combo meds. She loves to be groomed and pampered too!
