URGENT AND WAITING FOR MONTHS - Please help us find a loving, forever home for this petite girl fondly named 'Dim Sum' who was brought to the Ventura County shelter as an abandoned stray, and found with a similar looking dog who has since been adopted. Listed as a 2.5 yr old chow mix, we do not know what else this sweet dumpling is mixed with, but she resembles a flat coated retriever, and is adorable regardless of whatever she is. While Dim Sum and her friend came in understandably scared and did take some time to warm up, the shelter tells us, 'she is doing so much better and can come out to playgroup easily and has been housed with other dogs in her kennel for a couple of weeks when we needed extra space. She is currently at our Simi shelter, and since that facility is smaller, she's getting a lot of one-on-one time, going for walks and interacting with volunteers.' We were also told she has since been cleaned up a bit, and are waiting for pictures and video. Dim Sum has been spayed and is ready to go home.
