About Rica

Rica is a Husky-shepherd who is loving, loyal and low-maintenance. She is smart, obedient, well-trained, well-behaved, and well-loved by all who know her. She sleeps in her kennel, she stays off furniture, carpet and stairs, she does not beg, she is potty trained on gravel, and she is excellent with babies, toddlers and kids of all temperaments. Rica is a watchdog and protection dog, so she does bark at door knocks; but once she knows you are safe, she is welcoming with guests. She is 10 years old, and we've had her since she was 5 weeks. She is healthy, strong and still loves to play. We consider her the ideal dog in every way, and wish we could keep her. Unfortunately, we now have a rigorous travel schedule, which we feel has become unfair for her. Due to PITA's advisement against 'free to good home' transactions (https://www.craigslist.org/about/PETA), we are requiring a $100 re-homing fee to adopt Rica, but we will include her kennel, daybed and other miscellaneous items which belong to her.
