Daisy is a wonderful and sweet AKC Shihtzu. She will be 8 years old on March 27th. We are very sad to have to make this decision! Heartbroken and very concerned about her placement being just right for her. Her perfect placement would be with someone who is maybe a little older looking for a companion that will stay by their side most of the time. Daisy has severe separation anxiety that we have not been able to help her with via medications or training. In October she had an eye infection that led to having her left eye being removed. She had an infection that was stubborn to heal and is now cleared and the incision is about 99% healed. There are so many wonderful qualities about her that I will tell you when we interview perspective homes, but for now we need to start this process as my husband has significant health issues and is facing a major surgery so I cannot be with her all the time. We live in an apartment so I cannot leave her home alone barking non-stop for long periods of time. I will be very particular about the home that she goes to. Please contact me ASAP if you are interested in knowing more and being screened for placement. Thank you!
