About Star

Star was rescued in Louisiana by lady that found her and said that she could not find a rescue group in Louisiana to take her. She had a gunshot wound through her jaw and ear. She was in pain. She brought her here to Furry Angel Friends here in Mississippi where she received the medical treatment that she needed. She had jaw surgery, and now her tongue permanently hangs out. We think this makes her uniquely special!! Star is such a sweet baby. She cannot help it that somebody shot her and permanently disfigured her face. She is a Catahoula hound, and her tail is docked. Star is a very sweet and loves to go for rides. She loves dogs, and she loves children. We are not sure about cats. She loves to roll over for a belly rub, and she knows the sit command. She is extremely smart. Star weighs 60 pounds and is 2-3 years old. She has been spayed and completely UTD on vaccinations.
