This is a courtesy post for a former Ewenity pup that is in need of a new home. If after reading all you are interested in giving this stunning boy a home please contact his owner Diego directly at 305-803-7072 'My dogs mean everything to me, so this has been a heartbreaking life change. Reason for surrender: Divorce in which I moved out of the house with a fenced-in yard. I kept our 3 dogs as her work schedule does not allow her to care for them, and I work from home and am the one who trained and took care of them. I will be moving out of state by the end of 2025 into an apartment, so I can only keep my smallest dog. I have no problem keeping Zero until I find him a new home. Location: Bonita Springs Health/Medications: 37lbs. Up to date on his heartworm. He is due for his vaccinations this month, which I will take care of. He's never had any medical issues. No allergies, skin issues, ear infections, tooth issues, hip issues, or digestive problems. He is VERY squirmy when it comes to having his paws touched, so it is very difficult to cut his front nails, and they do not wear out even with a lot of exercise. Exercise regimen: Daily 2-3 miles off leash walks or bike rides in hiking trails or the park. Loves the chuck-it and is very easy to exercise via fetching. He also loves to swim and will fetch in the ocean or lakes/ponds. Training/Obedience: Solid sit, down, stay, recall. House and crate trained. E-collar and prong collar trained. Excellent on car trips and on boats. Not a chewer and has never chewed any clothing, furniture, shoes, etc. More often than not I leave all 3 dogs outside their crates when leaving the house and have never had any issues. Can be left alone for up to 8 hours with no issues. Temperament: Great with kids and people once he's been introduced to them. We have a 9-year-old son and Zero was his best friend. He is the definition of a velcro dog. Extremely loyal and loving. The most affectionate dog I've ever had and loves human contact. Best cuddler in the world! We also had 3 cats at one point and had no issues between the dogs and cats. The bad: He is reactive towards dogs and has attacked a handful. Dog parks are out of the question for him. It was never an issue until a few years ago. The problem stemmed from when he was attacked by a Husky our dog sitter owned. The owner never admitted anything happened between them, but when we picked Zero up after a vacation, he had a small wound on his snout, and ever since that point, he's become aggressive towards other dogs. On the bright side, I successfully introduced two other dogs into our home, with whom he's lived peacefully since the attack. The first was a chocolate lab, and the second was a Dachshund. He's never attacked the Dachshund but did get into a few fights with the Lab the first few months the Lab moved in. There have been no issues for the last 18 months, even when left alone in the house for 8 hours.'
