About Koda

Koda is a sweet purebred Australian Shepherd. He has been with our family since he was a puppy (8 weeks old), but he has become routinely aggressive with our other dog - a dog he has known his whole life. Due to this random and spontaneous aggression towards our other dog and his temperament around kids we are in search of a home that is more compatible with his needs. Koda is about 8 years old. On 02/12/2025 Koda had an exam & we repeated a full bloodwork panel/urinalysis/heartworm test & all of his values look great with no indication of illness. Koda will be supplied with 1 year's worth of heartworm & flea/tick prevention, along with a bag of his current diet, and his comfort items such as his kennel & bedding. Koda loves to run around in his yard, but otherwise he spends his day lounging around the house. He will show his energetic side if he is taken to a field to play and run, but otherwise he is happy just to enjoy time with his family while relaxing in the house. He does NOT require long walks or runs to relax in his home. He is kennel trained, knows commands and does not have separation anxiety. In search of a home with no other dogs/cats and no children; we would be grateful to send him to a home that he can freely roam throughout the house and get the love/attention he deserves.
