WILL DRIVE TO YOU IN OHIO OR SURROUNDING STATES. 5 Y/O FEMALE (DOB:9/18/19). Her name is ' SAMMY'. Background: The Current Shepherd Parent got Sammy about 4 months ago from someone that did not let her know anything about Sammy's issues. UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. UNKNOWN with kids. Good with dogs. NOT good with cats. House trained. NOT Crate trained, does not need, has good behavior when left alone (just put all food up). No known medical issues. Currently on Hill's Science Diet Adult Large Breed Lamb Meal and Brown Rice food. Weighs 70 lbs. Good with car rides. Loves: balls - treats - puzzle feeders - learning new tricks- going on walks - going on hikes (and she is a great companion for hiking, she will stay by your side off leash) - playing with other dogs - going to Parks - hide and seek / scavenger games - laying in the grass and observing her environment - chilling on the couch - cuddling in bed - plush toys - always being by her person's side. Personality: very smart. Loyal. A Velcro shepherd. Sammy is a great and intelligent girl. She knows Basic Commands+. She will learn a new trick in a matter of hours. She is very sweet and loving. She is great on a leash. Has Great Recall. She is very protective of her home and property. She is friendly but she is startled easily with people that she does not know. The issue that Sammy is having is because of her protectiveness of her home and property, she has bitten a couple of people before. She is also very on edge around people that she does not know and gets spooked easily and gets startled and becomes aggressive. If she is away from her home and she is not startled, she is very nice and receptive to everyone. Her Current Shepard Parent does not have time to work with Sammy. Her work schedule has her gone a lot and Sammy needs someone that has the time and knowledge to be able to work with her through these issues. Sammy is such a great companion, she just needs worked with. She is very nice to everyone, but again, if she gets startled or if someone comes on her home or property, she is aggressive. Sammy will thrive best with a Breed Experienced person who has the time and patience and commitment to work with her to where she can be the best girl that she can be.
