About Devon

Devon is a 1 year-old Mini Aussie at under 25 pounds. Devon is crate trained and house trained. Devon has done well with other dogs and although curious seems he can do well with cats with time. Devon is looking for his forever human companion and is just about down for any adventure or a calm cuddle on the couch. Devon is extremely busy and will need an active home that can meet his energy and training needs. He has been working on training to keep focus and has learned to check in. A calmer easy going doggy playmate would be ideal for Devon so he can continue to learn how to be a family pet. We don't recommend apartments as he can be very vocal when crated at times. A fenced yard would be ideal, but we would consider other options with an active family with a good plan in place to keep Devon's needs met. Devon walks on leash well and has excellent off leash recall with his foster family and will work well for just about any treat. He's a good car rider and could make a good travel buddy for someone who likes to hike and walk as he likes to explore new places. Devon is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm and tick disease negative and on preventatives.
