About Athena

Athena is 3 yr old German Shepherd, she will be 4 in May. She is not spayed. She has food allergies and requires a grain free diet. Venison has seemed to be the best protein source for her so far. She has refused to take medication for me. She is currently reactive. A very reactive dog moved in next door and it has sent her over the edge with her reactivity and anxiousness. At this point I have to say that she does not do well with other dogs. She should not be in a home with small children until further evaluation. She is smart as a whip and full of energy but does love to be a couch potato as well. She loves to sleep at the end of your bed and is a wonderful protector. But due to recent events of aggression and having children in the home, it is no longer a safe option to keep her in our home. She needs a fenced in yard and a bike that she will be a part of your family and will be spending time indoors and sleeping indoors. She has been an inside dog the majority of her life.
