GENTLE. CHILL. RESILIENT. Hulk is a distinguished gentleman of eight-years young who is best described as a gentle giant with a relaxed, loving personality. Due to more severe arthritis in his hind limbs, he was placed on the euthanasia list at the county shelter. We knew he still had a full life to lead, so we saved him and started working on treating his lameness and pain. While Hulk is not a candidate for surgery to alleviate his arthritis, he has been doing well with his pain management plan. He has improved mobility and has been able to enjoy life again, which means he would LOVE to find his forever home! Physical therapy could also help him maintain and possibly increase his mobility. Hulk likes children of all ages, new people and new places but needs to be your one and only dog in the home. He is crate- and house-trained, knows how to use the dog door along with basic commands. This loving pup loves to go on car rides and can be trusted to be left alone. Hulk would make a loving companion for a family looking for a gentle, laidback dog that loves cuddles and just hanging out near you. He is the perfect pup in a house or an apartment but does enjoy a stroll through the neighborhood. If you want to keep leveling up his training, he would enjoy that as he is incredibly food-motivated! Hulk's adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, neuter and microchip.
