About Loki

Rescue Post for Loki - 2-Year-Old Belgian Malinois It breaks our hearts to write this, but we are looking for a new home for our beloved Belgian Malinois, Loki. He's 2 years old, full of energy, and has so much love to give. Loki is wonderful with babies and thrives when he's the center of attention. However, as is typical of his breed, he can sometimes show dominance and has nipped older kids in moments of excitement. Our decision to rehome Loki is not easy, but it's necessary for the health of our family. Our youngest baby has developed severe allergies to dog hair, making it difficult for them to breathe even in areas where Loki hasn't been directly. My husband also has allergies to his hair, which have worsened over time. While we adore Loki, we simply cannot continue to put our kids through this. Loki would do best in a home without young children or with someone experienced in handling his breed's high energy and intelligence. He needs a home where he can be the only dog or with someone who understands how to manage dominance behaviors in Malinois. He's a loyal, smart, and loving companion who thrives with structure, training, and attention. If you or someone you know could provide Loki with the loving home he deserves, please reach out.
