About Muncy

This cute boy is Muncy. He is a 1 1/2 years old Australian Cattle Dog mix who weighs about 50 pounds. He needs a new home because he grew up with a very large yard and we just had to move into an apartment and is unable to get the exercise he needs. This boy is loved and just needs a home with someone who is ready to be active. He knows how to sit on command. He also knows 'paw' and is working on 'stay.' He is easy to train and is highly treat motivated. Like most Cattle Dogs, he will bark when a stranger comes to the door. He is very protective of his family. Due to an unforeseeable financial situation, he has not been able to be properly trained for his reactionary behavior. Due to this, we the think he will be happy as an only dog. Mostly, she is all about her people. She is a wonderful buddy but will need to be muzzled until comfortable. He is good on leash and learning not to pull. He is muzzled for walks. He enjoys to go on long walks. Muncy is a cuddler, ready for his forever partner. He is affectionate, lays down for belly rubs, and is into whatever you are into. He will appreciate a home who keeps him active, will do just a bit more training, and then just love him. He would be an excellent 'protector' dog of a ranch or farm. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Placentia, CA, and ready to meet adopters who can meet and adopt here.
