URGENTLY NEED TO REHOME MY DOG: On 12/29 I adopted the sweetest dog from the shelter for my birthday after my dog passed of old age. He is perfect when he is with me and a very quick learner. He naps with me, goes to events and parks and hikes, and is a sweetie to my cat. On 12/31 he burst through my living room window and on 01/09 he burst through my bedroom window- the only two times i've left him home alone. Because I need to pay for the damages I cannot stay home with him all of the time, and he is a danger to himself if he continues to escape from my apartment. If I could afford to fix the damages and for training then I could keep him. Even if someone can temporarily foster him, I am moving in a few months and could take him back. I tried CBD and tiring him out, but he needs space to run and other dogs to be his alphas. He is an energetic Husky but the sweetest, most cuddly dog ever. He plays with my cat and loves on her, he is quickly learning obedience, he eats well and goes to the bathroom outside when we take him and is very responsive to treats as rewards. He just has severe anxiety and I hate having to rehome him but he's been returned to the shelter twice so I can't bring myself to bring him back there. He barks at other dogs but hasn't shown aggression towards them. He sleeps in my bed or near us and is protective. He needs a loving home and training. Again, even if it's for a few weeks then I can place him with my sister who is moving into a new home soon, but I cannot leave him at my apartment with two broken windows which won't be fixed for 1-2 weeks.
