About Billy

Billy is an adorable 4-year-old dog who weighs 45 pounds and has a charming personality. Known as a social butterfly, Billy thrives on interaction and enjoys the company of people, making him a great companion for families and individuals alike. He is mostly trained and responds to a few basic commands, such as 'sit' and 'shake,' showcasing his eagerness to learn and please. When it comes to receiving treats, Billy displays impeccable manners-he takes them gently, reflecting his gentlemanly nature. Billy is in good health overall; he is current on his vaccinations and has tested negative for heartworm. However, he did test positive for Lyme disease, but he has started treatment for it and is on the road to recovery. While walking on a leash, Billy does fairly well, although he may pull a bit when he becomes excited, likely due to his energetic temperament. He hasn't had the chance to interact with other dogs yet since arriving here, but we believe he will adapt well and make friends with ease given his friendly disposition. All dogs must be spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter; if this hasn't been done, we'll schedule an appointment for you. **Payment:** We accept cash only-no checks, debit, or credit cards please.
