About Ruger

Ruger (formerly known as Tricky when he was here as a puppy) has been turned back into us for no reason of his, unfortunately his family was going through some very tough times, and they made the decision to rehome him for a better life. The family provided us with great information on him and we will share some of that here. 'He is an energetic, happy, large puppy! We have worked with him on training, and he knows sit, shake and place (his bed). He knows 'wait' which we used in place of stay. He has been crate trained since we got him. He sleeps in there overnight and will take naps in his crate during the day. We have been working on jumping up and mouthing which is a puppy thing that hopefully he will grow out of! I have been training him to gently approach and sit nicely if he wants attention and he is learning this, sometimes by laying his head in your lap.' This cutie was obviously very much loved and was becoming a wonderful family member. We will be getting Ruger fixed on May 7, and he will be ready to go out to a new home then. We do want him to go to a new home as soon as possible so he can continue his training and have a stable new home to continue to thrive in! Adoption fee is $200.
