Chaca is an owner surrender that came in with her Chihuahua mother and her mother's new litter. She is about a year old. Chaca is what I would call a velcro dog, she wants to be with her human 24/7. She is doing fantastic with her potty training, but she needs to be taken out on a good schedule. She can be very shy at first, but once she bonds, she sticks to you like glue. In the house, she is pretty laid back. Outside, she is a pistol and is very, very fast. We pulled her right after her spay and found out that she was pregnant. She adopted a litter of dachshund puppies we got in around the same time and eventually started to nurse them. She is super sweet and loves to play with the other smalls here in her foster home and is very comfortable around the larger dogs. She doesnt interact with the resident cats, but she doesnt bother them either. Chaca has an old injury to her right rear leg. At one point, her femur was broken, but healed before she came to us. Her rear leg is slightly turned out and she doesnt always use the leg when running. It does not cause her pain or lack of movement. We are guessing at the Shibu Inu mix and have not done a DNA on her. She is just under 10 lbs. We require and application and a vet check with our adoptions. Out of state adoptions will also involve additional fees for her Health Certificate and transport. She is spayed, has three puppy shots, rabies, bordetella, and has been microchipped.
