About THANE

LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY. Thane is a 13 week old, 6.2lbs Shihtzu mixed breed puppy surrendered from a bad situation with his brother Odin. He is 6 pounds of playful puppy and should be a medium sized dog fully grown. Thane is the ring leader of the group! His foster brother follow him as he goes on adventures. He loves to wrestle and play with his brother and when tired will snuggle up in your lap. He is a brave, curious boy who would love a home with a playmate and will be good with big and small dogs. He would also love some kids to play with! He is currently in the puppy chewing stage and likes to dig but he can be re-directed to an appropriate toy or task. His foster mom is working with him on potty pad training and he is doing well. He has a puppy pen to keep him and his littermates safe when they cannot be supervised and for sleeping at night. (We always recommend a puppy pen if you have a puppy in your home!) We also do require another playful pup in the home. Thane really enjoys having a companion or will bark when left alone. Thane has been to the vet for a wellness check, has had all of his puppy shots, is neutered, fecal tested and wormed, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. Local applicants will be given first consideration. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments and dogs with behavioral issues are local adoption only. Miami, Broward or Palm Beach County only We review multiple applications for each dog and pick the best fit. We are not always able to respond to every application. We will only contact those we feel are a pawfect match for our pets.
