About Ash

Ash is an amazing girl, she is smart, active ,loves outdoor activities, she has anxiety when left alone, to include howling, whining, and chewing tendencies. She is crate trained, 100% potty trained, sweet, curious,smart, loves fetch with tennis balls and loves her squeaky toys. She knows multiple commands, not treat motivated but is over protective of her toys and food. Ash has become aggressive with our older , male pitbull mix and another pitbull whom she came in contact with in a wooded area while both dogs were off leash. We don't have a fenced yard at home for her to exercise but do at work where she attends daily as the 'shop dog'. We are looking to find her a home with no other animals and someone who is familiar with the breed. We had another female Akita for ten years so are familiar but no equipped currently for her needed training. By training, I mean for her dog aggression. Ash is the most loyal and loving dog ever but we can't trust her with our other dog's any longer so have had to keep her separated from them and it has became too complicated. We are willing to have her spayed because we do not want her used for breeding purposes and don't believe it would be a good idea due to her aggressive tendencies. We did attend puppy obedience classes upon getting Ash, at age 12 weeks and she listens very well to many commands.
