Apollo came in with his sister, Luna.ե Whereas Luna is outgoing and confident, Apollo is shy, cautious, and scared. He takes a minute to warm up to you, once he does, he enjoys sitting in your lap for comforting pets and cuddles. Apollo actually walks okay on leash, a little underfoot, and waits to potty outside. He doesn't like other dogs rushing him, and getting in his face. He will deliver a low growl. But there is no lunging, biting, or snapping. It's 100% fear based. Apollo will be fine with other dogs, with slow, proper introductions. I wouldn't place him with young, rowdy kids, only polite older ones. He needs a calm, predictable environment to completely decompress. Once he feels safe, he'll come out of his shell, but for right now he needs quiet and calm.
