About Tank

Tank can be the sweetest and most loving dog but he is very intense and can get rough. My husband and I are both in our 60's and while we love him very much, his assertive nature has become too much for us and we know we must find another home for him. He did recently bite me severely enough to require stitches. He has never exhibited aggression towards anyone other than my husband or myself, and any other issues with actual biting prior to biting me was because he was startled or when he had an item that he was protecting.We are heartbroken but we know that he can't remain in our home BUT that he could and would be a perfect dog for an individual that can provide the structure that he needs. Our vet is recommending that we rehome him at this point and I can provide a letter from him if that would be helpful.
