About Lou Lou

URGENT RESCUE OR FOSTER 160 DAYS IN SHELTER!!! When I started volunteering again at the shelter in August, I developed a target list of about 20 dogs to focus on getting adopted. Lou Lou was my favorite from the start but she is the ONLY ONE STILL THERE from that original group!!! Sadly, she is now the LONGEST STANDING RESIDENT at the shelter. I have watched her get passed by time and again while others find loving homes and now she is declining rapidly. She stress sheds, shakes nervously and whales in her kennel to get out. I am desperately searching for the right person to come along and give her a chance, as I don't know how much longer she can endure her current state. Please consider adopting or fostering Lou Lou! She is house trained, cat friendly and good with a slow intro to other dogs. She loves kids, has attended multiple pack hikes and recently participated in dog for a day with a volunteer where she visited Starbucks and Petsmart and did wonderfully.
