About Tootsie

Tootsie is a gentle, mild-mannered little girl who loves to be held and loved. She's curious about the world but of course still figuring it out, making her a brave but cautious explorer. Tootsie prefers staying out of roughhousing but enjoys playful moments, especially with her siblings. Her tiny size and calm demeanor make her the perfect lap dog. She's good with careful, gentle children. She enjoyed chasing around with a young child and her siblings, often acting as the caboose in their games. She is welcoming and fine with unfamiliar people. Tootsie gets along well with dogs of all sizes, and she shares food and water well. She would enjoy having a doggy playmate. Tootsie is a quiet companion with a low to moderate energy level who is content with being left alone in a puppy-safe area. She would do well in an apartment. With her tiny size, she shouldn't be left unattended outside as it's not safe, especially with birds of prey everywhere. She is not yet fully housetrained, she's just a baby, but uses puppy pads and understands that outside time is for going potty. Tootsie can climb gates under 3 feet but isn't a jumper. Tootsie's ideal home is one that appreciates her gentle and calm personality. She'd do well with other kind dogs to show her the ropes or as an only dog with a patient family who can help her explore the world at her own pace. She was born on 10/6/24 and is probably a Chihuahua mix.
