About Scotty

Meet Scotty. This sweet boy was found in the road and brought to a local vet. After a few weeks, the owner was found but did not want him back. While at the vet, Scotty was updated on all his vaccines and neutered. He is an energetic yet gentle boy and loves people. He loves to get petted or scratched. Scotty gets along well with other dogs but may chase cats. He walks fairly well on a leash. Now he is ready to find a family that will love him and keep him forever. Scotty is about 31 pounds and 2 years old. Update: Scotty had tested positive for 2 common tick borne diseases, Lyme & Anaplasmosis. He is on a course of antibiotic treatment and feeling great. He can be sent home with his antibiotic to be completed with his new family! Scotty is currently available for adoption. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
